Contrary to the general assumption that cosmetic surgery is only aesthetically indicated, more than 50% of operations are medically necessary or plastically reconstructive. This means that more than half of operations at the Bodenseeklinik are medically indicated, such as breast malformation surgery, nasal ventilation disorders, corrections of external operations for complications and reconstructions after accidents.
