Breast lift is also possible in a combination procedure with breast enlargement. At the beginning of the operation, a breast implant is inserted into the breast according to the analysis and discussion before the operation. This causes the breast to lack volume. It is replenished and adjusted to the size before pregnancy or weight loss. In a second step of the method, the excess skin is removed over the inserted breast implant. At the end of the tightening of the chest, it is firmer, fuller and higher.

Breast lift with lipofilling / self-fat undercoating

A breast lift with simultaneous lipofilling is not recommended in contrast to a breast lift with breast implants due to risks and complications. We perform a lipofilling of the breast on request in a separate second operation if necessary, if breast implants are not desired.

The procedure of the operation
The breast lift is usually stationary and in general anesthesia. The procedure lasts about three hours. After surgery, the breast is stabilized with a special bra or support bra to promote healing. Drainages provide drainage of wound secretions. Already the day after the operation, our patients are mobile. In the first few weeks after the procedure, you should avoid physical stress and wear the special bra around the clock. After about three to four weeks, sporting activity is possible again. The final result of the breast lift shows up after about six months.
Costs and reimbursement
The cost of a breast lift varies depending on the method, extent of tightening, individual findings, hospital stay and other materials. In the Bodenseeklinik you will receive a transparent cost estimate after the consultation. In some cases, the health insurance covers part or the entire cost of a breast lift. After breast lift
After surgery, usually mild pain and tension can occur, which are well treatable with painkillers such as ibuprofen. The scars fade within a few months and adapt to the surrounding tissue. The nipples can be temporarily sensitive or slightly deaf – the sensation normalizes in the course of healing. The Bodenseeklinik accompanies its patients during the entire follow-up phase after tightening. Regular checks ensure that the result is optimal and that you are satisfied in the long term.

The final result of a breast lift can be assessed after about six months. After-checks we recommend to remove the thread knots and mini-tapes after 3 weeks.
