Below you will find a list with important information to prepare for your surgery appointment at the Bodenseeklinik.
Patient information
Since the Bodenseeklinik attaches great importance to safety and quality, the list is very detailed. A beauty procedure is also a surgical procedure, whereby risks are minimized in advance by caution and accuracy.
First of all, consider Please discontinue any anticoagulant medications/substances10 days before the operating appointment: for example, ASS 100, aspirin, vitamin E, devil's claw, wobenzyme, phlogenzyme, bromelain, arnica, aloe vera, gingko, St. John's wort, umckaloabo, valerian, plavix, Marcumar.
Please bring the following findings
- Blood levels: Blood sugar, blood count (Leuko, Ery, HB, Hkt), blood lowering, clotting (Quick + pTT), electrolytes, creatinine, liver values (GOT, SGPT, Y-GT), MCV, MCH, MCHC, Throm, potassium, sodium
- ECG
- In breast operations Current ultrasound or mammography of the breast. If you do not have the opportunity to have this findings made, please inform our secretariat at the latest one week before the surgical appointment, then we can have it carried out on site.
- For abdominal liposuction or abdominal lift surgery Please bring a confirmation from the family doctor, who will confirm that there is no umbilical or abdominal sheath.
- For known respiratory diseases X-ray image of the lungs, possibly lung function.
- For liposuction on the legs in known varicose veins, the veins are examined beforehand (e.g., Doppler ultrasound, phlebography).
- For liposuction and abdominal lifts 2 weeks before surgery additional blood levels: glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase and APC resistance.
- For pre-operations Please bring old findings/reports.
- Allergy certificateIf present, take it with you.
